
One of the many wonderful aspects of doing hypnosis is that it helps with numerous issues. I often say that hypnosis is a "Broad Spectrum" modality. The list of things that hypnosis can help with is long and wide.
People come to me for Weight Loss and Smoking cessation, but also for self-confidence, nervous habits, phobias, medical conditions, public speaking and sales confidence, memory improvement, enhanced creativity, and many, many more issues. Physicians, psychiatrists, and psychologists send their patients to me when other treatments fall short. Often, those professionals and their families come to me as they can experience anxiety too.
There is one common denominator that connects these issues: ANXIETY. The good news is that hypnosis is a natural antidote to anxiety. Anxiety is epidemic in today's world. It permeates our daily lives as we live in a society that produces it in droves. TV and film, social media, the news and of course work and family can be triggers of anxiety. Just turn on the news, and you can almost feel your blood pressure rise. As an ex-producer in TV news, I know how true the maxim is, "If it bleeds, it leads" in the news or podcast. That means that the most gut-wrenching stuff goes at the top of the program or site, and the lighter stuff at the bottom. So we are always ginned up by this stimulation, which produces more adrenaline and cortisol. We often don't realize that we're in it because it becomes our natural go to setting. There are many forms of anxiety triggers.
Anxiety stimulates the need to distract ourselves from it, by smoking, eating, nervous habits, etc. So experience this Mother Nature provided gift of hypnosis and watch your anxiety and negative habits melt away. Beyond the actual session, the calmness lingers and listening to one of my recordings that I provide as part of the session regenerates the "Zen" again and again.
